For only $6 you can get all the pancakes you can possibly eat and support local veterans.

The annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast hosted by the Veterans Affairs of Dawson County will be this Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Professional Development Center.

The menu includes plain or home-grown blueberry pancakes, coffee, juice, water, bacon, sausage, butter and syrup and attendees can choose to dine in or carry out.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance from a board member.

The mission of the Veterans Affairs of Dawson County is to honor veterans and active military by remembering them through service and celebration. Donations as well as sales from the breakfast will help them provide programs for the community, including Memorial Day in May, POW/MIA in September and Veterans Day in November.

The Professional Development Center is at 30 Main Street in Dawsonville.
