Michael Pugh and Janet Mixer exchanged vows during a private ceremony April 3, 2010.

The groom was born and raised in Cumming, attended Forsyth County High School, and later moved to Dawsonville.

He is the son of Johnny and Linda Pugh. His children are Cassie, Kayla and Cole Pugh, all of Dawsonville.

The bride was born in Valdosta and raised in Orlando, Fla., before moving to Charleston, S.C. 

She is the daughter of Joy and the late Mack Mixer.

The newlyweds attend church at Bethel United Methodist Church and Christ Fellowship in Dawsonville.
