Margaret Elrod and Matthew Samples were united in marriage on Jan. 21, 2012 in Helen.

Margaret is the daughter of Mary Ann Bailey of Dawsonville and Robert Shaw of Tucker.

Matthew is the son of Cindy and the late Barry Samples of Cumming.

Grandparents are Eugene and Marcelle Hamby and Virginia H. Holbrook, all of Cumming. The couple has made their home in Dawson County.
