Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church’s Knights of Columbus group recently wrapped up its February 2021 food drive, raising over 5,000 pounds of food and $11,300 in cash donations for RIC-Rack Food Bank in Dawson County.

The Knights of Columbus partnered with the Chestatee neighborhood in Dawson County, which accounted for about half of the food donations and three-quarters of the monetary donations, according to a release by the Knights of Columbus. Christ the Redeemer’s Cub Scout Pack 233 also participated in the food drive.

“The Knights of Columbus thank everyone in the community for making this event a success,” the release said.
