On Saturday June 4, the Rotary Club of Dawson County will hold a “Rotary Day Celebration” to celebrate the official opening day of Rotary Island splash pad at Rock Creek Park.
Rotary Island is a fun and exciting splash pad at Rock Creek Park and is free to the residents of Dawson County.
The splash pad was paid for and constructed by the Rotary Club of Dawson County, and was completed with close collaboration between the Rotary Club of Dawson County, Etowah Water and Sewer Authority, Dawson County and Dawson County Parks and Recreation.
The opening day celebration event will take place at Rock Creek Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 4. The event will feature free hotdogs, chips, drinks and snow cones.
Rock Creek Park is located at 445 Martin Road in Dawson County.
