Food Lion holds ribbon cutting for complete remodeling; make donation to local food bank

As one of the 87 Food Lions across seven different states that have been undergoing remodeling, the Dawsonville Food Lion hosted a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning in celebration.

“Grit, determination and perseverance represent these caring associates,” the press release stated. “I am incredibly grateful to the hundred of associates who spent the past 18 months planning for this moment. Take time to celebrate today’s achievements, knowing that your work will nourish communities, customers and your fellow associates for years to come.”
After the cutting of the ribbon, Food Lion presented Jesus Name Apostolic Church with a $500 check in support of their food bank through the “Food Lion Feeds” foundation.
