Dawson County Family Connection to hold “A Family Fair” event on July 29

On Friday July 29, Dawson County Family Connection will host “A Family Fair” event at Main Street Park in Dawsonville. 

According to event information provided by the organization, the event is designed to help families connect to each other and to the resources available in the community, and to have fun at an enjoyable community event. 

The event will run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 29 and will feature free family fun, free food while supplies last and prizes. There will also be a free outdoor movie, Illumination’s “Sing 2”, that will begin at dusk. 

The event is made possible through a collaboration of dozens of local sponsors, including local businesses, organizations, nonprofits and churches.
