Sammy and Cyndi Harben of Dawsonville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Nikki Harben to Heath Martin.

  

He is the son of Randall Martin of Cumming and the late Georgianna Daniels Martin.

  

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maude and the late Warren Harben of Dawsonville, Jim and Sandra Arey of Suwanee, Melvin and Iris Young of Gainesville, Jimmy and Hilda Clark of Flowery Branch.

  

She is a 2001 graduate of Dawson County High School and a 2006 graduate of North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

  

She is currently employed as a deputy clerk with Hall County. She attends Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville.

  

The groom-elect is the grandson of Geneva Hammonds of Cumming, Joe and George Daniels of Dawsonville and the late Randall Martin.

  

He is a 2002 graduate of North Forsyth High School and received his drafting diploma from Lanier Technical College in 2010.

  

He is currently employed as a GIS Technician with the City of Cumming. He attends Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville.

  

The couple plans to wed at 4 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010 at Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville.
