Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ebel of Dawsonville announce the engagement of his daughter Miss Lindsey Carol Ebel to Dr. Chadwick Marshall Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Marshall Palmer Jr. of Elberton.

 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lorraine Timmons and the late Mr. Clarence Joseph Ebel.

 

She is a 2005 graduate of Dawson County High School and is currently attending nursing school at North Georgia College & State University.

 

She is also currently employed at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group.

 

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Bessie Mae Cleveland, the late Mr. Sidney Clevelend, the late Mr. William Marshall Palmer, and the late Mrs. Betty Tribble Mathis.

 

He is a 1997 graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School. He is a 2001 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a 2005 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Family Practice in Chattanooga, Tenn., and he completed his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.

 

He is currently practicing as a sports medicine physician with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Sports Medicine.

 

The couple plans to wed March 26 in Athens.
