This June the Bowen Center for the Arts in Dawson County will host its annual card party and luncheon fundraiser, according to a recent release from the Bowen.

The fundraiser will be held on June 10, 2021 and feature a luncheon and an afternoon of card and board games.

“Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch, raffles and spending the afternoon playing cards, board games or Mah Jongg,” the release said. “Please bring your game of choice!”

Reservations are required and tickets are $25 per person. All funds raised will go to help the Bowen continue its mission of spreading a love for all forms of art.

“The center welcomes people of all ages who seek high-quality, unique experiences through artist workshops, exhibitions and performing arts,” the release said. “Funds raised will help the Bowen continue to offer art exhibits, musical events, social gatherings, seminars, festivals and outreach programs that help foster and promote love and appreciation of the arts.”

Prepayment for tickets to the event is required by June 3, 2021, and can be made by check mailed to P.O. Box 849 in Dawsonville or online at
