Jewell Strickland

Jewell Strickland, 92, of Dawsonville died Aug. 16, 2014.

She was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church.

Her husband, Fred Strickland, and daughter, Marion Patricia Williams preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Gene and Betty Strickland, Mary Scott, John Strickland, Janice Strickland, all of Dawsonville; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 20 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gerral Richards and Wendell Thompson officiating.

Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Wednesday from 9 a.m. until hour of the service.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
