Donald Webster Martin

Donald Webster Martin, 75, of Cumming, died July 25, 2014.

Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Buell and Edith Martin.

A long-time resident of Forsyth County, Donald was the owner of the Cumming Barber Shop. He was a deacon for many years at Coal Mountain Baptist Church.

He was an avid hunter and gardener. He also worked as a realtor.

Survivors include his children, Tim Martin of Dunnellen, Fla., Scarlett and Jerry Sams of Cumming; sisters, Mary Alice Thomas and Diane Gravitt of Cumming; brother, Robert and Shirley Martin of Cumming; and much-loved grandchildren, Trevor and Gracie Sams; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. July 27 at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Richard officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
