The Dawson County High School boys' golf team improved its record to 15-3 last week. Coach Wes Greer's team began the week playing in the War Eagle Invitational at Crystal Falls Golf Club on April 8. The team shot a season low 325 to take ninth place in the event. Read More

Dawson County High School varsity soccer coach Jed Lacey was noticeably unhappy with how his third-ranked Dawson County Tigers played against White County on March 22 at Tiger Stadium. "It was a very sluggish game," Lacey said. "I knew coming back from the Tournament of Champions in Jekyll Island we would have to get the engines going again. This was not one of our better games, but we pushed through it and did enough to win. I'm glad we got that game out of our system." Read More

Fighting the elements and some good Class AAA teams, the Dawson County High School varsity Tigers baseball team went 1-2 last week. Weather was an issue last week.
