Coach Shari Chastain's talented group has won nine straight matches coming in to this week's play.
The Lady Tigers took advantage of the team's home course at Gold Creek to defeat North Forsyth and Jackson County on Monday, March 17.

Last Thursday, March 20, Chastain's group routed Pickens County by a 93-111 score for the team's ninth win in 10 matches this season.
"Overall, I am pleased with our play at this point in the season," said Chastain.
"We are going to have to make some improvements in our short game before region, but the girls are showing a lot of consistency to date, and that is important," she added.

The Lady Tigers ran away with its match against Pickens County and East Jackson last Thursday, March 20.
Holbrook led the Lady Tigers with a 40 in the 9-hole event. Whitmire carded a 52 for the Lady Tigers. Katie Stowers (57) and Katie Turner (60) also finished strong for Chastain's team.
"Katie Stowers has been playing strong for us in the last few matches, although this score doesn't reflect that. It was her worst day so far," said Chastain.
"The girls are playing a longer course right now in preparation for their tournaments. They are playing from the green tees, which are approximately 360 yards longer than the red tees. It is fun to watch the girls mature in their games and develop the confidence they have. They truly expect to win every match, and they are certainly building on the successes they have enjoyed in the past couple of years," Chastain said about her team at this point of the season.
"I also have several young players who are exciting to watch as well. Erin Pruitt, sophomore, Rachel Dotson and Jessi Phillips, freshman, and Tatum Turner and Tayler Hasbrouck who are eighth graders. These girls are beginners, and they are improving daily," Chastain said of her junior varsity team.
Next Monday, March 31, the girls will travel to Peachtree Golf Club for an 18-hole par 3 event. The next day the girls will play host to Fannin County and Buford in a tri-match at Gold Creek. Monday's event will begin at 3 p.m. and Tuesday the Lady Tigers will tee it up at 4:30 p.m.
