William "Kieth" Pounds, 30, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 15, 2012.
Kieth lived with his mother in the southern part of Lumpkin County.
Lona Mae Chester, 86, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 10, 2012.
Born Jan. 16, 1926, in Lumpkin County to the late Oscar and Nellie Tow, she lived in Dawson County for more than 70 years.
Charles B. "Charlie" Young, 59, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 2, 2012.
Born Sept. 29, 1953, in Espanola, N.M., to the late Broughton and Mary Frances Young, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.
Wayne "Cabbage" Chester, 62, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 2, 2012.
Born April 1, 1950, to the late Earl and Inell Chester, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
Doris G. Evans, 70, of Cumming, died Oct. 5, 2012.
Doris was a great mom who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Amy Rae Harris, died Sept. 30, 2012.
She was a dispatcher for the Georgia State Patrol.
Robert James Hood, 77, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Oct. 6, 2012.
Robert was the owner of Robert Hood and Son Inc., a poultry house curtain distributor.
Betty C. Wright, 83, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 2, 2012.
Born Oct. 7, 1928, to the late Welmer and Zola Cofield, she had been a resident of Dawsonville since 2004.
Belinda Warren Barrett, 63, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 28, 2012.
Born July 7, 1949, to the late T.B. and Mildred Warren, she was a native of Fulton County who lived most of her life in Forsyth County.
Mary Frances Farr Plunkett, 97, died Sept. 21, 2012.
She was born in Asheville, N.C. and moved to Atlanta to attend Agnes Scott College.
Richard Lee Dameron, 73, of Cumming, died Sept. 21, 2012.
He had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior while attending Haw Creek Baptist Church in the 1960s.
Lt. Col. Edgar George David Jr., U.S. Army retired, died Sept. 20, 2012.
Lt. Col. David was born Jan. 13, 1929 in Tampa, Fla. to Edna Mona Anderson and Edgar George David Sr., a member of the Oglethorpe Athletic Hall of Fame and president of his class for four years.
Willis Ruell Bettis, 88, of Cumming, died Sept. 14, 2012.
Born March 1, 1924, to the late C. Roy Bettis and Lillie Mae Bryant Bettis, he was a native of Forsyth County with a lifelong association with the Midway community.
Roger Billy Martin, 71, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 29, 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; children, Marty and Elsa Martin, Quinn and Rebecca Martin, Betsy Driver; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
