Jeanette Loraine Foster, 62, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 31, 2012. Born Oct. 30, 1950, in Ft. Worth, Texas, she had lived in Dawson County for the past year having moved from Gainesville, Texas. Jeanette was a homemaker at her death and was a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church.

Mary Elizabeth Holder, 94, of Cumming, died Dec. 26, 2012. She was a member of North View Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn.
Larry Hesekey Teems
Larry Hesekey Teems, 72, of Cumming, died Dec. 24, 2012. A veteran of the Army, Mr. Teems also retired from General Motors.
Warren K. “Dub” Evans
Warren K. "Dub" Evans, 77, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 27, 2012. Born Sept. 30, 1935, to the late Arthur and Daisy Evans, he lived his life in Dawson County except for a short period in which he lived in Atlanta.

John A. Cahill, 69, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 26, 2012. Born Jan. 16, 1943, in Kinston, N.C., to the late John A. Sr. and Marjorie Cahill, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 10 years, having moved from Homestead, Fla.
Jerril Charles Howard
Jerril Charles Howard, 70, of Cumming, died Dec. 23, 2012. His parents, Lewis and Eather Howard; brothers, Lloyd Howard, Broughton Howard and Norris Howard, preceded him in death.

Tommy Pinion, 81, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 17, 2012. Born Aug. 11, 1931 to the late John and Ruby Pinion, he had been a resident of Dawsonville his entire life.

Wanda Welch Tanner, 45, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 12, 2012. Born July 20, 1967, in Gainesville, she had lived in Dawson County for the past five years, having moved from Dahlonega.

John George Wilbanks Jr., 57, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 13, 2012. Mr. Wilbanks was born March 19, 1955, to John George and Lena Wilbanks Sr. in Chatsworth and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church and Gideons International.

Sue E. Racine Dearmond, 78, of Stockbridge, died Dec. 8, 2012. She retired from Reynolds Aluminum and Supply Company after 34 years of service as regional credit manager.

Valerie Jean Martin, 29, of Forsyth County, died March 12, 2013. Valerie loved her family and friends intensely.
Lillie Jean Cagle
Lillie Jean Cagle, 88, of Cumming, died March 16, 2013. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist church and part of the ladies Sunday school class.
Michele Keller Chesnut
Michele Keller Chesnut of Cumming died March 15, 2013. Michele graduated from Grissom High School in Huntsville, Ala., and obtained her pharmacy degree from Auburn University in 1982.

Shane Michael Thurmond, 42, of Dawsonville, died March 12, 2013. Born Feb. 3, 1971, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
Margie Weaver
Margie Weaver, 74, of Dawsonville, died March 18, 2013. Born July 31, 1938, in Pickens County, she lived in Dawson County for the past 55 years.
