Lanier Pruitt, 58, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 21, 2013. Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Talmadge and Addie Lee Pruitt.
W. Frank Morgan Sr.
W. Frank Morgan Sr., 90, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 26, 2013. Born April 23, 1922, in Dahlonega to the late Jefferson and Carrie Morgan, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 30 years having moved from Atlanta.
Oliver Lee Kelley
Oliver Lee Kelley, 74, of Cumming, died Jan. 25, 2013. He was born May 23, 1938, in Cumming to Arthur Colquit Sr. and Kate Kelley.
Robert J. “Bob” Galasso
Robert J. "Bob" Galasso, 77, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 26, 2013. Born March 16, 1935, in Oyster Bay, N.Y., to the late Louis and Mildred Galasso, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 19 years.
Justin Disharoon
Justin Disharoon, 25, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 26, 2013. Mr. Disharoon was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He attended Dawson County High School and was assistant manager at Cactus Carwash.
Tommy Davis
Tommy Davis, 79, of Dahlonega, died Jan. 22, 2013. Born June 15, 1933, to the late Charles and Bertha Davis, he had been a resident of the Dawson/Lumpkin County area for most of his life.
Robby Loyd Burnett
Robby Loyd Burnett, 47, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 20, 2013. He cherished his two sons and was so proud of them. He was the funniest person and could tell a great story. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, cook, garden and ride his motorcycle.
James Clifford Dowdy
James Clifford Dowdy, 83, of Cumming, died Jan. 20, 2013. Born in Tucker, he was the son of the late John and Elsie Dowdy.

Gordon Clifford Lee, 54, of Rome, died Jan. 13, 2013. Mr. Lee was born in Baltimore, Md. on Oct. 20, 1958, as the son of Lauralee Sally Vinyard Lee and the late Clifford Lee.

Yvonne Thurmond Sanders, 74, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 14, 2013. Born Sept. 26, 1938, to the late Virgil and Mary Edmondson, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
