Robert Francisco Carrino, 81, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 11, 2012. Born Aug. 9, 1932, in Richmond, Ind., to the late Guisseppi and Susie Carrino, he was a former resident of Peoria, Ill., and had been a resident of Dawsonville since 1998.
James Dean "Jim" Howard, 77, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 31, 2012. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after 38 years of service.
Louine R. Anderson, 97, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 25, 2012. Born Oct. 16, 1915 in Prairie Hill, Texas, to the late Pleasant R. and Julia Roberts, she and her husband moved from Atlanta to Lake Lanier in 1973, where they enjoyed boating and fishing.
Bertie Lee Bottoms, 95, of Cumming, died Nov. 4, 2012. Bertie loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
Janet Blair Brown, 53, of Dahlonega, died Oct. 29, 2012. Mrs. Brown was born in Columbia, S.C., the daughter of Polly Blair and the late Thomas Blair of Lugoff, S.C.
Golda Burt Heard, 84, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 30, 2012. Born Aug. 12, 1928, to the late Wiley and Ola Berry, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Golda spent her life dedicated to her family and was employed in several fields during her working life.
Marcus Sams, 64, of Cumming, died Nov. 2, 2012. Marcus was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Cumming after 35 years of service.
Karen Melinda Zimmer, 29, of Forsyth County, died Nov. 2, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Andy Zimmer of Gainesville; parents, Jim and Linda Bishop of Cumming; brothers, Jimmy, Kip and Ryan Bishop, all of Cumming; nephew, Forest Bishop; various other relatives also survive.
Carl Edward Davis, 86, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 2, 2012. Born Dec. 29, 1925, in Hagerstown, Md., to the late Roy and Zola Davis, he had been a resident of Dawsonville since 1996.
Leila B. Hammond, 68, of Commerce, died Oct. 28, 2012. Born March 1, 1944 in Dawson County to the late Toy and Carrie Nell Bishop, she lived a number of years in Marietta and Homer.
Kristina Martin, 33, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 22, 2012. Born June 26, 1979, in Manchester, she had lived in Dawson County for the past four months, having moved from Gainesville.
Nicolina Dorlores "Nellie" Sanfilippo, 94, of Marietta, died Oct. 22, 2012. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Giovannia Perotto.
Lewis A. Davenport, 84, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 26, 2012. Born June 24, 1928, in Fannin County, to the late Tate and Essie Davenport, he lived most of his life in Dawson County. Mr. Davenport was a retired poultry farmer. After his retirement he enjoyed working at Burt's Pumpkin Farm and gardening.
James Michael "Mickey" Sheffield, 55, of Cumming, died Oct. 24, 2012. Born Feb. 17, 1957 in Gainesville, he had lived in Forsyth County for the past 25 years.
Dwight Landon Taylor, 28, of Big Canoe, died Oct. 21, 2012. He was born in Dunwoody on March 2, 1984.
Angelia "Angie" Bradshaw, 45, of Dawsonville, died April 13, 2013.
Pierce H. Corn, 85, of Cumming, died April 14, 2013. Pierce was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church.
Harold D. "Danny" Perkins, 65, of Dawsonville, died April 15, 2013. Born Oct. 17, 1947, in Kennesaw to the late Raymond and Dora Berma Perkins, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.
Charles E. Vincent, 83, of Norcross, died April 13, 2013. Born March 11, 1930, in Pilot Oak, Ky., to the late Bruce and Pernie Vincent, he moved to Clarkston, Ga., in 1967 and to Norcross in 1988.
Stephen Brent Waters, 33, of Dahlonega, died April 9, 2013. Born Oct. 25, 1979, Mr. Waters was a native of Dawson County and had lived in Lumpkin County for the past year.
Edna Gazaway, 81, of Dawsonville, died March 16, 2013. Born Aug. 1, 1931, to the late Grady and Lizzie Tatum, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
Nellie Garrett Martin, 104, died March 14, 2013. She was born Dec. 5, 1908, in Old Milton County, now Milton, in Fulton County.
Valerie Jean Martin, 29, of Forsyth County, died March 12, 2013. Valerie loved her family and friends intensely.
