Head coach Jimmy Pruett's Dawson County Lady Tiger softball team had a busy and eventful week. On Tuesday the team traveled to Blue Ridge for a game against Region 8-AA foe Fannin County. The Lady Tigers came out on the short end of an 8-inning, 3-2 loss to the Lady Rebels.

The Dawson County Lady Tiger softball team traveled to Gainesville for the 9th Annual Lanier Point Invitational last Friday and Saturday. Games were halted after the Saturday morning session because of rain and will be made up this Saturday.
