After starting the week with a game the Tigers would like to forget, an 11-1 loss to Fannin County, the team bounced back with two convincing wins over Rabun County, 9-4, on Friday, and a thrashing of East Hall, 18-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Head Coach Van Samples' Dawson County High School boys and girls golf teams are heading in the right direction. Both the boys and girls teams picked up wins against visiting Jackson County on March 21 at Chestatee Golf Club in Dawsonville.

The Dawson County High School varsity baseball team continued it's offensive woes last week. The Tigers dropped two Region 8-AA games last week to Union County, 7-2, on Tuesday, and fell 9-2 to Banks County on Thursday.
Dawson County eighth grader, J.T. Eggert, pitched a no-hitter against Chestatee in Gainesville last Saturday. Eggert pitched five strong innings and struck out five, while surrendering only three walks.
The Dawson County High School varsity girls soccer team has seemed to turn the corner under new coach Jed Lacey. The Lady Tigers picked up two wins, at home, last week with Banks County, 8-0, and Rabun County, 3-0.
