Junior competes at state

Rush Davenport participated in the Georgia Olympics on May 14 at Bryan-Keen Memorial Stadium in Jefferson. Davenport was the only athlete to qualify for the state meet from Head Coach Arron Haynes' boys track team.

Walters in 4th to end season

The Dawson County High School girls' track team competed in the AA state championships last Thursday through Saturday at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany.

Girls finish in seventh place

The Dawson County High School girls' golf team finished in seventh place at the AA state golf tournament on Monday. The Lady Tigers were paced by junior Rachel Dotson. She finished the 18-hole event with a 108.
