With football season just around the corner, Dawson County High School Head Football Coach Jeff Lee and his coaching staff took the team and traveled to Presbyterian College for its annual 7-on-7 passing camp July 8-10.
Madison Caldwell has been blessed with an ability to play golf well and she's not about to take it for granted. With a long windup and smooth follow through, she's developed a rare ability to blast a golf ball off the tee with driver in hands well in excess of 250 yards.

Tiger sports teams took part in a required "dead week" last week. The period runs from June 30 through July 6. Beginning four summers ago, the Georgia High School Association executive committee approved the "dead week" by request of the GHSA coaches.
