Week-long river adventure to travel the Etowah

Georgia Mountains’ unemployment rate rises to 4.5 percent in December

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) announced on Jan. 26 that the unemployment rate in the Georgia Mountains region in December was 4.5 percent, up two-tenths of a percentage point from 4.3 percent in November. In December 2015, the rate was 4.4 percent.
