Kate Hyde

Kate Hyde, 90, of Forsyth County, died July 6, 2012.

She was the last of nine children of General Washington and Lottie Arizona Spriggs Reavis.

Her husband, Roy Edward Hyde and a very special granddaughter, Pam Wright, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Humphreys of Alpharetta, Connie Wright of Dawsonville; Wanda Hardin of Florida; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. July 9 at New Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. J.W. Watson, Jerry Orr, Tim Biddy, Clyde Boling and Johnny Padget officiating. Interment followed at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
