Nancy Brown

Nancy Brown, 66, of Dawsonville, died June 11, 2012.

Born Dec. 4, 1945 in Culver City, Calif. to the late James and Bobbie Jo Carter, she had lived in Dawson County since 2000 having moved from Cumming.

Mrs. Brown retired from General Motors after 17 years of service.

She and her husband are residents and very active in the Paradise Valley community.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her sisters, Joyce Carter and Janice Cox, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Claude Brown of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. June 15 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fr. Brian J. Higgins officiating. Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
