Ida Mae McBrayer Lingerfelt

Ida Mae McBrayer Lingerfelt, 61, of Cumming, died May 21, 2012.

She was a lifelong resident of Cumming and was a member of Four Mile Baptist Church in Pickens County.

She was a longtime caregiver for people with severe disabilities.

Her son, Tony McBrayer; granddaughter, Cheyenne Stanford; parents, Mark and Lucille Goodwin; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Lingerfelt of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Anselmo Torres, Chasity and Robert Stanford, Leah and Ricky Hammett, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Michael and Kate Torres of Florida, Anthony McBrayer Matthews of Jasper, Bryson Hammett, Cheyanna Faith Stanford, Khloe Maeson Stanford, all of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deana Lingerfelt and Randy Waycaster, Alice Goodwin, Dyan and Ronald Allen, all of Cumming, Josephine King of Flowery Branch, Jean and Bill Smith, Hazel and Booty Wehunt, all of Ball Ground; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Goodwin, Marcus and Essie Goodwin, all of Ball Ground, James Goodwin of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. May 24 at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Barry Payne officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations were requested made to the American Diabetes Association or The Lupus Foundation.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
