JoAnna DiPeri

JoAnna DiPeri, 78, of Cleveland, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008.

  

Mrs. DiPeri was a native of Gastonia, N.C. who had lived in White County for the past five years. She was a previous resident of New York. She was a retired registered nurse.

  

She was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Creasman Brown and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Bazemore; and, sister, Ruth Yates.

  

Survivors include her sons, Vincent DiPeri, Jr. of Cleveland, Peter DiPeri of Dawsonville, Charles DiPeri of Dahlonega; brothers, David Ward, Danny Ward, both of Gastonia, N.C.; sisters, Louise Denton of Gastonia, N.C., Mary Armstrong of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations were asked to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.

  Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
