Lowry "Guy" Rider, of Dahlonega, died April 29, 2012.
Mr. Rider was born in Lumpkin County to the late Francis and Ester Rider.
Four sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Stacey Rider of Michigan; sister, Reba "Susie" Rider of Dahlonega; various other relatives also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. May 2 at Auraria Church of the Almighty God with the Rev. Tommy Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends beginning at noon May 2 at the funeral home.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
