Christopher ‘Chris’ Blalock

Christopher "Chris" Blalock, 42, of Dawsonville, died April 26, 2012.

A native of Alpharetta, he lived a number of years in Forsyth County before moving to Dawson County 12 years ago.

Chris was a graduate of Forsyth County High School and was formerly employed by Chestatee Ford.

His mother, Shirley Blalock Sullivan, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Norman and Kathy Blalock of Dawsonville; brothers, Curtis Blalock, Robert Newton, both of Alpharetta, Tyler Blalock, Wesley Sullivan, both of Dawsonville; niece, Sarah Newton of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at noon April 30 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Interment followed in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
