Barbara Carnes Bearden

Barbara Carnes Bearden, 77, of Dawsonville, died April 17, 2012.

She was a lifetime member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Billy Bearden of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Mark Johnson of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law, Derrel and Ellen Carnes of Cumming; half-sister and husband, Brenda and Gene Jeffers of Cumming; grandchildren, Misty and Todd Pearson of Senoia and Tiffany and Joey Tanner of Sharpsburg; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gwen Timms of Cumming; brother-in-law and wife, Jimmy and Linda Bearden of Jasper; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 19 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Johnny Purcell and Clyde Boling officiating. Interment followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
