Frank Glass

Frank Glass, 67, of Dawsonville, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.

  

A native of Pickens County, he lived most of his life in Dawson County. He was the retired owner of J & F Construction Company and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

  

Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Shirley C. Glass; children, Jennifer and Jeffery; parents, Andy Weston and Fannie Mae Glass; sister Pat Glass; brother, Paul Glass.

  

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Sandra Glass, Alex and Lori Glass, all of Dawsonville; brother, Bobby Glass of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Dana and Chris Jones, Ryan Glass, Natalie Glass; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Kowen and Rodney Pilcher officiating.

  

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
