Glover won 6-1, 6-7 (11-9) over Lauren Travis from Fannin County.

"This match was really close," said head coach Jamey Bearden. "I feel like both players were equally matched, but Whitney's endurance and persistence paid off."

"Overall, the girls did a great job. I'm really proud of this victory. It's so exciting when they all can get a win in a match. Every player is improving and getting stronger each week," Bearden said.

The Lady Tigers will travel to North Forsyth on March 28.

The team will play Buford in an away match March 29.

Both matches begin at 4 p.m.
