Bobby B. “Bob” Duke

Bobby B. "Bob" Duke, 82, of Loganville, died March 20, 2012.

Born Aug. 5, 1929, in Lafayette to the late Auburn and Marie Duke, he had lived in Walton County for the past 20 years, having moved from Gwinnett County. Mr. Duke retired as an engineer for Hauserman & Associates after 30 years of service.

His wife, Bertie A. "Bert" Duke; and a brother, Buddy Duke, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Susy and Todd Hollaway of Dawsonville, Kyle F. Duke of Winder, Martin Duke of Loganville; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Howell of Savannah; various other relatives also survive.

At his request, Mr. Duke was cremated and services will be held at a later date.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
