Anthony “Lynn” Payne

Anthony "Lynn" Payne, 51, of Cumming, died March 18, 2012.

Lynn spent most of his adult career in law enforcement with the City of Cumming Police and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department.

He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

His father, Harold Payne, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Josh Payne, Emily Payne (Chris) Caldwell, Ashley Payne; mother, Betty Padgett Payne; sister and brothers; Lori (Kenneth) Mason, Kevin (Christy) Payne, Justin (Misty) Payne; two grandchildren, John and Nova Caldwell; one grandchild on the way, Bentlee Lynn; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. March 21 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Scott Sorrells, Ricky Byrd and Donnie Nix officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service March 21.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
