Betty Louise Cantrell

Betty Louise Cantrell, 76, of Dahlonega, died March 15, 2012.

She was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega.

She was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church, but attended Community Chapel, Frog Town Community.

She loved to babysit for her family and friends and loved sewing and bowling.

Her parents, John Henry and Amanda Gerrells; husband, Bobby R. Palmer; brother, Wayne Gerrells; sister and brother-in-law, Nell and Eugene "Mucho" Moore, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cantrell of Dahlonega; son, Larry and Rhonda Palmer of Dawsonville, Jimmy and Sarah Palmer of Jefferson; stepson, Gorden and Audra Cantrell of Cleveland; sister, Jean and E.F. Trammell of Dahlonega; brother, John and Jimmie Sue Gerrells of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Justin, Kesa, Judson, Drew, Isaac, Katelyn, Caleb; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 17 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Dahlonega City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Community Chapel, P.O. Box 1725, Cleveland, GA 30528.

Dahlonega Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
