Laura J. Feagin

Laura J. Feagin, 67, of Dawsonville, died March 6, 2012.

Born Oct. 6, 1944 in Copperhill, Tenn., she had lived in Dawson County since 1983, having moved from Stone Mountain.

Mrs. Feagin was a retired real estate broker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville.

Her father, Harmon Greenway, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Feagin of Dawsonville; children, Lisa and George Berberick, David Herron, Michael and Carolyn Herron, all of Kansas City, Mo.; mother, Jean Greenway of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Meg and Ronald Windsor of Alpharetta, Sally and Bill Ledbetter of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Harmon and Sheria Greenway of Roswell; eight grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. March 10 at the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville with the Dr. Jim Gaines officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the American Cancer Society, Dawson County Relay for Life, P.O. Box 159, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
