Byard and Walls announce engagement

Kaitlin Devere Byard and Logan Spencer Timothy Walls plan to wed.

Mr. and Mrs. John Byard and Mrs. Lisa Carr of Dawsonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Devere Byard to Logan Spencer Timothy Walls, son of the late Mr. William Sanders Walls and Torina Walls and Wyatt Bales of Dawsonville.

Kaitlin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. She presently attends Fordham University in Manhattan, N.Y. and is pursuing her master's degree in special education while teaching second grade in Harlem as a member of Teach for America.

Logan graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in business and a certificate in finance. He was the starting nose tackle for the Yellow Jackets football team for the past three seasons and was selected for the All ACC Academic Football Team all three years.

The couple shares two dogs, Wallard and Lilly, who will participate in their wedding ceremony as ring bearer and flower girl.
