"It's not just furniture anymore," said Hill, who relocated to the area from Alabama in August.

Hill said customers will notice the showroom has recently been redesigned and offers a more inviting shopping experience.

"We've already improved the visuals of the store and added a lot of new furniture," Hill said. "We also have several big toys that would be great for Christmas: Laptops, gaming systems, the top brands, from the high-end to the low-end and everything in between."

From appliances and electronics to furniture and bedding, Badcock Home Furniture and More offers a variety of options that can be ordered and delivered within two to three days.

"Other places, you'd have to wait weeks sometimes," he said.

Badcock Home Furniture and More is located at 66 South 400 Center Lane, Suite 130, Dawsonville.

The store is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
