Students will wash cars, change oil Saturday

POSTED: October 12, 2011 4:00 a.m.

Dawson County High School Auto Tech students and Skills USA club members are offering oil changes and car washes from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the high school.

The cost is $25. Proceeds help fund the students' various trips and expenses.

Tenth grader Tyler Blalock said club members attended a competition in Perry, Ga. last week and a leadership conference in St. Simons earlier in the school year.

Eric Dicus is the advisor for the club and oversees the automotive tech department at the high school.
