Ali Kristen McClure to wed Benjamin Derrick Parker in October

Mr. and Mrs. Steve L. McClure of Cumming announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ali Kristen, to Benjamin Derrick Parker of Dawsonville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Raines and the late C. Hewlett Raines of Cumming and Mrs. Mary McClure and the late Cecil L. McClure of Cumming.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Louise Vaughters and the late Lloyd F. Vaughters of Dawsonville and Mrs. Ruth Parker Head of Lawrenceville and the late Henry A. Parker of Dawsonville.

A 2005 graduate of North Forsyth High School, Ali received her bachelor of arts in secondary English education from North Georgia College & State University. She is employed as a middle school teacher with Forsyth County Schools.

A 2005 graduate of Dawson County High School, Derrick is employed as a lineman with Sawnee EMC.

A wedding ceremony is planned for October in Cumming.
