Local schools will hold open house next week in preparation for the beginning of classes Aug. 5.

Black's Mill, Kilough, Riverview and Robinson elementary schools will hold open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 3.

Dawson County Middle will hold open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 3, while Riverview Middle and Dawson County High's open house will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Aug. 4.

Hightower Academy will hold open house at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 5. The academy's school year begins on Monday, Aug. 8.
