Riverview Middle School Head Softball Coach Jeff Compton recently announced that tryouts will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2 at the school.

Any seventh or eighth grade girl interested in trying out for the 2011 Riverview Middle School softball team must have with them a parent permission form and an up-to-date physical on the first day of tryouts.

Official softball practice will begin from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 3.
