Harold Howard Nichols

Harold Howard Nichols, 88, of Cumming, died at his home Oct. 28, 2008.

  

A native of North Dakota, he was the son of the late Floyd and Sarah Nicholas. 

  

Mr. Nicholas was a veteran of World War II where he served as a U.S. Navy CB.

  

For most of his life, he was a farmer and also worked at an auto specialty plant for 32 years.

  

Mr. Nicholas was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church.

  

Survivors include his beloved wife, Dorothy Nicholas of Cumming; daughter, Diana Lynn of Roswell; sons, Ronald Haney of Dahlonega, Jeffery Haney of Dawsonville; brother, Gordon Nicholas of South Haven, Mich.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

A graveside service was held Monday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery.  A reception followed the service at Piedmont United Methodist Church.

  McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
