Michele Elizabeth Putnam and Nicolas Michael Taber plan to wed in August.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Putnam of Dawson County are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele Elizabeth Putnam to Nicolas Michael Taber of Plantation, Fla. He is the son of Tom and Mary Taber of Cooper City, Fla.

 

The bride-elect will be graduating in May from Broward College with an associate’s degree. She is currently employed by the City of Pembroke Pines as a public safety dispatcher.

 

The groom-elect attended the University of Central Florida before graduating from Seminole County Police Academy. He is currently a City of Pembroke Pines police officer. He also serves as a volunteer with the city sponsored Police Explorer program, mentoring students interested in law enforcement.

 

The couple is planning an August wedding in Dawsonville.
