George K. and Deborah Baty of Dawsonville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kaitlyn Victoria Baty, to Allen Chervell Nelson.

 

He is the son of Allen and Sue Nelson of Dawsonville.

 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Zachary and Lynne Henderson of Canton, Herbert and the late Georgene Baty of Alpharetta and Dave and the late Bobbie Sutphin of Dawsonville.

 

She is a 2008 graduate of Dawson County High School and is currently attending Lanier Technical College in Oakwood.

 

She is currently employed as a receptionist at Bella Sol Salon in Dawsonville.

 

The groom-elect is the grandson of Marianne and the late Albert Nelson of Fox Lake, Ill. and the late Baron and Louise Zoellick of Arlington Heights, Ill.

 

He attended Dawson County High School and is currently employed as a service technician with Disaster Services Incorporated in Doraville.

 

The couple plans to wed Oct. 1, 2011 at Cavender Castle in Dahlonega.
