Becoming Student of the Month at Riverview Middle School is quite an honor.

Students are nominated by their teachers to be recognized as “top of the class” for each month.

Outstanding students demonstrate good citizenship towards their fellow students and teachers, as well as have a positive attitude that ensures their success.

Tyler Dominy, eighth grade, Michael Willams, sixth grade, and Tommy Jeong, seventh grade, were selected for August based on how well they exemplified the monthly “Character Word” and a “30-Day Challenge.”

Character words are to encourage students to think about how their actions affect others, ways to improve themselves and doing their best in school.

For the month of August, Riverview’s Character Word was “Honesty” and faculty encouraged students to always tell the truth.

Riverview Middle School Students of the Month displayed how important it is to be honest with others and treat people with kindness.

As a celebration of their success, students received a certificate and lunch with Mrs. Johnston (counselor), Mrs. Gerrells (assistant principal) and Mr. Gerrells (graduation coach).

Congratulations to Riverview’s Students of the Month.
