Colleen Marie Vadia and Rhys Caldwell Harter wed

Rhys Caldwell Harter and Colleen Marie Vadia exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. Oct. 2, 2010 at the Lumpkin Campground Arbor in Dawsonville.

The Rev. Orin L. Sampson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Marie Vadia of Poland, Ohio and the late Steve Vadia.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Iacobucci of Boardman, Ohio, and of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Vadjina of Youngstown, Ohio.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harter of Dawsonville.

He is the grandson of Ms. Myrna Reese and the late Dr. Lewis Reese of Sanford, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. John Harter of Camilla.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Stephen Vadia.

She chose a strapless formal ball gown by Priscilla of Boston with a jeweled sweetheart neckline. The gown was made of an ivory organza, which created a romantic and opulent look.

The dress was accented with a satin bow at the natural waist that draped down the back of the dress.

The bride carried a bouquet of Ivory Cabbage Roses, White Cymbidium Orchids, white mini callas, white hydrangea and white Fresia with diamond pins that accented the roses and ivory satin ribbon.

Allison Cooper served as the Maid of Honor.

Bridesmaids were Alexia Holovatyk and Justine Cannatti.

Sophia Rog served as a Junior Bridesmaid.

The bridesmaids wore clover, hi-lo length satin gowns with a sweet heart neckline. The dresses were accented with an ivory bow at the waist line.

They carried gathered bouquets of bi-colored coral roses, garnet-glow calla lilies, white cabbage roses, mini white cymbidiums and white lizianthus with diamond pins accenting the center of the coral roses and ivory satin ribbon.

The flower girl was Breanna Kendall, who was dressed in a satin tea-length gown of clover and ivory. The gown was accented with clover flowers.

Tom Harter served as Best Man.

Groomsmen included Thomas Harter and Marc Rigsby. Jeff Rog and Taylor Toal also served as ushers.

Ceremony music was performed by pianist, Lynn Nahlik and soloist, Spencer Wright. Spectrum Entertainment provided the reception music.

The reception was hosted at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harter in Dawsonville.
