Kaleb Payne, 16, of Cumming, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008.

 

 

He was a junior at West Forsyth High School and was a member of the chorus and musical theater.

 

 

Kaleb was an active member at the Cumming Second Baptist Church.

 

 

He played travel baseball for six years in Forsyth and surrounding counties.

His grandfather, Junior H. Kinsey, preceded him in death.

 

 

Survivors include his parents, Kenneth Ray and Vivian Payne of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Kristy "Sissy" and Toby Hamby of Cumming; nephew, Taylor Hamby of Cumming; grandparents, Rev. Emerson and Wansley Payne of Dawsonville and Eula Kinsey of Cumming; aunts and uncles, Rev. Carter and Martha Payne of Jasper, Carolyn and David Parks of Cumming, Rev. Barry and Rita Payne of Cleveland, Marcus and Deborah Payne of Flowery Branch and Kenneth and Angie Kinsey of Ellijay; various other relatives also survive.

 

 

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at the Cumming Second Baptist Church with Revs. Barry Payne, Danny Orr, Tim Hubbard and Jason Hamby officiating.

 

 

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

 

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
