Marjorie Weaver Davidson

Marjorie Weaver Davidson, 70, of Dawsonville, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at her residence following a period of declining health.

 

 

Born in Dawson County, she graduated from Dawson County High School and moved to Atlanta where she worked as a secretary in the carpet industry. She later worked as a real estate agent and moved back to Dawson County in 1986.

 

 

Mrs. Davidson was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Dave" Davidson; parents, John and Maude Weaver; sister, Mildred Smith; brothers, Gordon Weaver and Robert Weaver.

 

 

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Weaver of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy Weaver, Kenneth and Pauline Weaver, Margie Weaver, Shirley Weaver, all of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

 

 

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ross officiating. Interment followed in Moss Memorial Gardens.

 

 

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
