ASK THE EXPERTS

Thanks for a job well done

POSTED: October 12, 2008 5:03 a.m.

A sincere “Thank You” and kudos are due to Public Works Director David Headley and his team for the outstanding job they did in repairing the .2 miles of Greenway Road lying in Dawson County.

That stretch of road has been a hazard to motorists and a liability to Dawson County for years.

Headley did a magnificent job without any administration hassle and with the best of relations with affected landowners.

His crew was courteous to everyone and blocked traffic a very minimum of time if at all. They went beyond in that they patched pavement on Tanner Road.

All of us out here thank you, Mr. Headley, the public works team and the Dawson County Commissioners, for a job very well done, finally.

George David
